Welcome to St Mark’s!

We are an Anglican church right in the centre of Wimbledon.

St Mark’s is made up of people from a variety of church and faith backgrounds or none. It’s a place to explore or deepen your faith in God, and encounter Jesus Christ through worship, teaching and prayer, friendship and fun. Whether you are a Christian believer, a returner, or a seeker, you’ll be very welcome.

Perhaps you are new to the area and looking for a local church? Try St Mark’s! We would love more people to join us and help us grow. 

We are inclusive and welcoming, a church where you can be yourself. We hope you will find a home here. 

Services at St Mark’s

On Sunday we are open from 9.30am for coffee, ready for the start of the morning service at 10am. Families with small children are very welcome. There is a Sunday Club which runs during the service in term time, and a creche. Bring your children along!

On Wednesday at 1pm, we hold a half-hour service in the Chapel, ideal for a quiet break from the office or daily routine.

Where exactly is St Mark’s?

Tucked away behind the Library in St Mark’s Place, our modernist, mid-century building is a gem to be discovered! Its vibrant, coloured glass windows and large cross suspended from a light-filled lantern are features that contribute to the church’s warmth and ambience. Directions here.

New Team Vicar

St Mark’s is currently going through a period of interregnum. Details of the recruitment process for a new Team Vicar may be found here. We expect to appoint a new incumbent later in the year.
